Hello! It's

Tom Blanchard

Profile Picture

I am a Master of Applied Science (MASc) student from the University of Toronto. I am affiliated with the Edward S. Rogers Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am advised by Nicolas Papernot. I am an upcoming PhD student at the University of Oxford, advised by Yarin Gal.

I am interested in solutions to prevent AI Systems from going wild. For now, this translates to evaluating current risks that are new and specific to the development of AI Agents, and providing new frameworks for using those systems safely, often taking inspiration from the computer security literature.
